Beaver Lake is super low, so the river was exposed- one place had to get out and portage- summer would have tried the run (lots of trees and obstacles)...however, winter has a different set of rules. Got into some of the caves with the kayaks and saw a river otter (he was not pleased I was in his house)...as well as a bald eagle
