I have kayaked this section many times, and I have to say it is the clearest I have ever seen- reminded me of kayaking Table Rock Lake this time of the year- you could see down at least 6'. Cuiver River, Missouri- Winter paddle, beautiful 32 degree day- Eagles in the air!

Wonderful winter paddle on a very cold (33-31 degree day)...water backsplash was freezing to the dry suit and kayak towards the end of trip. Use a dry suit- water temps are super low!

Beaver Lake is super low, so the river was exposed- one place had to get out and portage- summer would have tried the run (lots of trees and obstacles)...however, winter has a different set of rules.
